Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions we hear from clients before engaging our services.
What types of businesses does Provexa typically advise?
We work with a range of corporate clients — from mid-size Malaysian companies to subsidiaries of regional groups. Our services are designed for organisations that deal with transactions, have HR and workplace challenges, or need structured compliance support for their teams.
How long does an M&A engagement typically take?
Timelines vary depending on transaction complexity, due diligence scope, and whether regulatory approval is required. We align our engagement milestones with the transaction timeline from the outset, so both sides have a clear picture of what to expect at each stage.
Can you assist with employment disputes as an employee, not just an employer?
Yes. Our employment dispute service covers both employers and employees. Whether you are an HR department dealing with a formal claim or an individual navigating a termination dispute, we can advise on your position and the available channels — including tribunal proceedings and pre-dispute resolution options.
How are compliance training programs structured?
Each program is developed to reflect the specific legal requirements relevant to your industry and team. Development timelines typically run three to six weeks. We produce training materials, slide decks, and trainer notes — and can also provide delivery support where required.
What are your working hours and how quickly can I expect a response?
Our office is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (MYT). Enquiries received during business hours are typically acknowledged the same day. For complex matters, we aim to provide a substantive initial response within two business days.
Are fees fixed or do they vary by scope?
The prices listed represent our starting engagement fees for each service. Final scope and fees are defined at the outset of each engagement, following an initial discussion of your specific needs. We aim to be transparent about costs before any work commences.
